The editorial endorsement of James Smith for Bernalillo County Commission District 5 in Monday’s Journal contained outdated information. While Libertarian Michael Wismer remains on the Secretary of State’s website as a candidate, Wismer emailed the Journal that he has withdrawn from the race. That means the winner of the June 5 contested Republican primary will face only a Democratic challenger in November.
