2018 Miranda Adeline Moss, affectionately known as "Mimi," came to a peaceful rest after a prolonged and valiant struggle with metastatic breast cancer at home in Echo Park, Los Angeles, in the company of family and friends.

Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico to James Albert and Suze Marie (Saintis) Moss, Mimi grew up in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Albuquerque. She graduated from La Cueva High School Magna Cum Laude and four years later also achieved Magna Cum Laude when she graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA degree from the Honors Program in Art History and Theatre. Following her graduation she moved to Los Angeles where she began a career as an actor.

In 2011 she cofounded Sage Vegan Bistro with her dear friend Mollie Engelhart. In addition to her parents, Mimi is survived by her nine-year old daughter Bowie Elizabeth IngelsMoss, Bowie’s father Jon-Barrett Ingels, her brother Raphael Beinhauer, and many loving relatives and friends.

Mimi, who always had a good word and a smile for everyone, was adored by her family, friends, and employees. A funeral mass and celebration of life ceremony was held on Friday, May 11th.
