’Topes’ Yoga in the Outfield set for Sunday

The Albuquerqu­e Isotopes are hosting their annual “Yoga in the Outfield” promotion on Sunday prior to their game against the Fresno Grizzlies.

The event, which begins at 10 a.m., costs $10 and includes a ticket to the game, which begins at 1:35 p.m.

Tickets can be obtained at Let It Be Yoga, at 6200 Coors Blvd., near the corner of Montaño. need to cut any sports from its athletic program. Here is a sure-fired way to get the finances to meet all the Athletic Dept. needs, at least for 2018-19. Familiar with Fiesta and Zozobra? Well, have a similar event in ABQ, at and around UNM football field. … Create a Zozobra-like creature in a likeness of the former AD. That might make up some of the financial losses caused by his extreme carelessne­ss and mismanagem­ent. Burn it like “old man gloom”. how everyone else in our country understand­s how we act when we show respect for our flag and country, except the NFL and their apologists at ESPN? Leadership in the NFL? There isn’t any. There is a time and place to show respect and a time and place to highlight your causes. The NFL has yet to figure this out. — RGT

Lobo program in 1962 that had a record the previous 10 seasons of 64-176. And what a memorable 5th season it was as UNM was ranked as high as No. 3 in the country with AllAmerica­n Mel Daniels leading the team. In the postseason, the Lobos defeated Syracuse in the first round of the NIT in New York City when only 16 teams were invited. Again, King’s accomplish­ments in their entirety are unquestion­ably statue worthy. — NM Old Timer
