Brewery on the move
Rapidly expanding Bosque leases building in RR for HQ offices, training, warehouse
Bosque Brewing Co., an Albuquerque-based company that has grown rapidly in recent years, said Friday it has cut a deal to move its headquarters to Rio Rancho.
The company said in a news release it will lease a 24,000-square-foot building at 7701 Innovation Way at the north end of Rio Rancho. Plans call for the business to occupy the space on June 30. The move will allow Bosque more room to expand, said a company official.
The Rio Rancho location, formerly occupied by Stolar Research Corp., will provide office space for administrative staff, employee training activities and 8,000 square feet of warehouse space.
“Innovation Way will allow our leadership and administrative teams the ability to collaborate and grow as individuals and as an organization,” said Nick Seid, Bosque’s marketing manager, in a prepared statement.
Bosque has experienced rapid growth since its start by Gabe Jensen, Jared Michnovicz, John Bullard, Jotham Michnovicz and Kevin Jameson in October 2012. The craft brewing company distributes to 1,000 accounts throughout the state and exports to Chile.
Bosque operates two taprooms and breweries in Albuquerque and two taprooms in Las Cruces, and it’s looking at opening a taproom at the former site of Jackalope in Bernalillo.
Also in the works for 2018 are plans to open Restoration Pizza by Bosque Brewing Co. in the Journal Center near Cabela’s, and replacing Bosque’s San Mateo location with a new space at the corner of Venice Avenue and Pan American Freeway.
