Robert N. (Bob) Parker

Robert N. Parker, 87, of Rogers, AR went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May

30, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Village in Bentonville, AR.

He was born January 24, 1931 in Wichita, KS to Moses C. and Letha Parker.

Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years, after which he attended Kansas State University and earned his DVM. He owned and operated Del Norte Animal Clinic in Albuquerque, NM for over 25 years.

Robert loved his family and enjoyed giving gifts to them. He was known for slipping money to his children and grandchildren, as well as buying them their first car.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold Parker and Kenneth Parker. Robert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Olive Carolyn (Connie) Parker; three sons, Stephen Parker and wife, Betsy of Broomfield, CO, Brad Parker and wife, Marsha of Albuquerque, NM and Brett Parker of the home; one daughter, Lisa Schatzman and husband, Mark of Bentonville; one sister, Dorothy McDonald and husband Ron of Reno, NV., 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Prayer Gardens at Fellowship Bible Church of NWA with Pastors Mark Schatzman and Daniel Tedder officiating.
