Saturday: Adopting their foodthemed alter egos, the Omaha Runzas (normally the Storm Chasers) pitched a 2-0 shutout against the Albuquerqu­e Green Chile Cheesebuge­rs (normally Isotopes) on Saturday night.

It was the fourth shutout of the season for the Isotopes, who were held to just five hits in the game, none for extra bases. Albuquerqu­e RHP Yency

Almonte took the loss despite a solid outing, allowing two runs off four hits and two walks over six innings.

Reliever Shane Broyles pitched two perfect innings for Albuquerqu­e out of the bullpen.

Omaha 3B Corey Toups got the Runzas on the board with a second-inning RBI double, scoring 1B Ryan O’Hearns for the 1-0 lead.
