Lois Lee (Kuykendall) Ramos

Lois Lee (Kuykendall) Ramos found peace on May 31, 2018 and entered heaven to hear "well done good and faithful servant" from her heavenly Father. Lois was born in Huntsville, Alabama on June 17, 1933 to Edrie (Golden) and Cicero Kuykendall, who had four children: Vivian, Paul, Lois and Rita.

Lois married her high school sweetheart from South Division High School, Rueben Ramos, on September 5, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and they were married 52 years when he preceded her in death in 2005. Rueben and Lois have three children surviving them: Mario Ramos and wife Diane (Moxley), Ricky Ramos, and Pamela (Ramos) Lober and husband Randy Lober. She is also survived by grandchild­ren: Andrew Ramos (wife Elizabeth), Danielle (Lober) Bow (husband Michael), Melanie (Ramos) Andruzzi (husband Brent) and Kara (Lober) Jurgensen (husband Phillip) and one greatgrand­daughter Ella Ramos.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Rueben, brother Paul, sister Vivian, grandson Samuel Ramos, and greatgrand­daughter Emma Ramos.

Lois graduated from Alverno College with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She worked as a preschool teacher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until 2005. Her greatest joy in life was her family and serving God. She lived in New Mexico since 2006. Services will be in Milwaukee WI.
