Theresa Tarro

Theresa Tarro, age 73, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gallup, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. Theresa enjoyed bowling, reading, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Merejildo and Fidencia Barreras; two brothers, Anthony and Orlando Barreras. Theresa is survived by her loving children, Stacey Tarro and wife Angie, Tammy Martinez, Shannon Montoya and husband Edward; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are her siblings, Genevieve Padilla and husband Chuck Taylor, Virginia BarrerasOrtiz, Maria Barreras, Priscilla Thurn, Tony Barreras; and many other relatives and friends. Theresa will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018 from 3:00 p.m .to 4:00 p .m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family FuneralServices-Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, Albuquerque, NM where a Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 9:00 a. m. Interment to follow at the Sile Community Cemetery in Sile, NM. Casket Bearers will be Stacey Tarro, Edward Montoya, Phillip Martinez, Michael Tarro, Austin Tarro, Tony Barreras and Matthew Martinez. Honorary Bearers will be Brian Parks and Joshua Thurn.
