President Trump expressed aggravation at Democrats who denigrated his summit with North Korea and said it produced nothing. Nobody is sacrificing their long-held principles. For forty long years Democrats have declared they want to get rid of nuclear weapons unless it benefits Trump.
The World Cup gets underway in Russia this week and Germany is listed as the favorite. That’s ironic. Whenever a German flies to Moscow and looks out the airplane window he gets the same feeling a Russian gets when he flies to Berlin and looks out the window — all this could have been mine.
The Audubon Society declared September to be National Vulture Awareness Month at zoos to educate the public about the value of these predatory birds to nature. The birds operate in flocks. A group of vultures is called a committee and two groups of vultures is called a congressional committee.
GOP Senator Bob Corker blasted fellow Republicans for accommodating all of Trump’s policies Tuesday. It all makes for great TV. This fall on CBS’s Amazing Race, we get to see if President Trump can destroy the Republican Party any faster than Hollywood can destroy the Democratic Party.
