Sandra Lee Cuthbert

Sandra Lee Cuthbert, age 75, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 15, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Cheyenne, WY on June 15, 1943 and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1981. Her birthday on Earth became her birthday in Heaven. That is so sweet of God, isn’t it?

She was active for many years as a volunteer at Roadrunner Little League. Her passion was her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She never met a stranger and everyone she met called her "mom."

She was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Albuquerque City Council President in 2000-2001.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Norma Miller; her brother, Larry Miller; and her beloved son, Craig S. Cuthbert. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Gilbert; her daughters, Lesa and husband, Jeff Swisher and Karen Cuthbert. She is also survived by her beautiful grandchildren, Alex and Lauren Swisher, Lane Cuthbert, Lindsey and Jake Cuthbert; brothers, Jack Miller and wife, Linda of Ft. Laramie, WY and James Miller and wife, Linda of Dixon, CA; sister, Pamela Isbell and husband, Cliff of Denver, CO; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. NE, 87111. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to New Mexico Make a Wish Foundation. Thank you to Legacy Hospice Care and Precious Moments for taking such good care of our mom.
