John E. McKinley

John Edward McKinley, came into this world a fighter on December 26, 2017. Unfortunately, our Heavenly Father wanted his sweet angel back. On Monday, June 18, 2018, John returned to heaven.

His precious little smile, bright blue eyes and spunky little attitude captured the hearts of all who met him and even those not lucky enough to meet him, but were still along for the journey. This sweet baby boy, along with his parents, gave it all they had and remained strong and united as they continued to fight John’s illness– Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. “Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you for letting us be your parents here on earth for as long as you let us, we will love and miss you always, and know you no longer have to fight for peace.”

Thank you to the incredible doctors, nurses, techs, support groups and Spencer… who did so much for John while in their care at Primary Children’s Hospital in SLC. Thank you to all who have supported John’s fundraiser “Our Heartbeats for John Go On” through FB, continues to help cover expenses and help ease the burden on this young family.

Viewing & Funeral: Friday, June 29th, 4:30 p.m. at the LDS Church in Los Lunas. Burial services: Saturday 10 a.m., June 30, 2018 at the Mathews Family Cemetery Mountainair, NM.
