The win marks the first time the Isotopes have scored three runs or less and still come away with a victory in 2018. Senzatela’s outing was the longest of the season for the Isotopes pitching staff. Fuentes and RHP D.J. Johnson were named Thursday to the Pacific Coast League team,that will face the International League in the Triple-A All-Star Game on July 11 at Huntington Park in Columbus, Ohio.
Tauchman came into Thursday hitting .355 with a .626 slugging percentage, both second-best in the PCL. The 27-year-old from Palatine, Ill., also was named a 2013 mid-season All-Star for TriCity in the Northwest League.
Fuentes, 25, came into Thursday with a PCL-best 102 hits and nine triples. He is the only third baseman in Minor League baseball with at least eight doubles, triples and homers, the Isotopes said.
