Help offered in getting Real ID

Attorneys, judges and representatives from the Motor Vehicle Division and Bureau of Vital Records will team up July 21 to help New Mexicans navigate the sometimes complicated process to obtain a Real ID.

Professionals will be on hand during the Real ID Free Legal Fair to help identify required documents, review documents to ensure they are Real ID-compliant and assist in filling out application forms.

Attendees should bring appropriate documents, as listed on the MVD website, mvd.newmexico.gov. MVD staffers will issue Real IDs on the spot to those who bring all required documents.

The fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 21 at the Barelas Community Center, 801 Barelas SW.
