Benavidez charity tourney coming

The fourth annual Stephen E. Benavidez Golf Tournament is set for Aug. 3 at Sandia Golf Club.

The Stephen E. Benavidez Scholarship is for energy engineers. Last year, the tournament featured 102 players and four scholarships were handed out.

The event begins at 8 a.m. The price is $125, which includes bucket of balls, card, swag bag and one raffle ticket.
