Marble Brewery is taking its award-winning craft beers to El Paso.

“It is being well received,” said Tony Calder, Marble Brewery brand ambassador. “(People in El Paso) have been asking for a long time. We know that there have been bottles and kegs going across the state line illegally. Now they can get Marble beer legally.”

The beers roll out this week with a series of events scheduled at various venues in El Paso.

Marble beer releases were scheduled Monday at Hoppy Monk on El Paso’s West Side and at Craft & Social in downtown El Paso. Other events are scheduled later this week at all three Tin Man locations including a Penny Growler Tap Takeover on Thursday.

L&S Distributing, out of McAllen, Texas, has a branch in El Paso and will handle distribution of Marble products. Marble beers also will be available at several specialty retailers including Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods, Western Beverage Liquors & Wine locations and Whole Foods in El Paso.

Last year, Marble won a gold medal for its Cholo Stout at the Great American Beer Festival. Marble’s most prominent recognition came in 2014, when it was named Small Brewery and Brewmaster of the Year.
