is seeking Junior Docents. Learn more about available opportunities at the upcoming orientation sessions. Pre-registration is required for the sessions. Orientations will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 1-3 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 6, from 1-3 p.m. Location details provided at RSVP. volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis for the Benefits Connection Center. Working in the center, you can help seniors and people with disabilities find out what benefits they are eligible to receive. To volunteer, you must be able to answer calls pleasantly, speak clearly and hear well on the phone and follow a script. Training will be provided. is in need of volunteer drivers to deliver meals to clients. Drivers are needed one day a week, or as a substitute when necessary, for approximately two hours. Duties include delivering a hot, nourishing meal to clients. Meals are picked up at 10:30 a.m. at one of four sites: Northside Presbyterian (north), Kaseman Hospital (east), Presbyterian Downtown (south) or Rust Medical Center (west). Volunteer in Belen or Los Lunas, working with adults with disabilities. Looking for individuals who are 18 and older, who are cheerful and kindhearted, who can accept direction from staff, and are who are physically able to be outdoors in all season helping to propel people in wheelchairs in various settings for day trips.
