Victoria Reuter, beloved wife, mother, and grandmothe­r, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the age of 77, from the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert C. Reuter, Jr.; daughter, Linda Nuckolls and husband, Ed and grandchild­ren Dana and Todd; daughter, Susan Stanojevic and husband, Vladi and grandson, Dylan; son, Paul Reuter and wife, Amy and grandchild­ren, Blake, Kate and Luke. Vicki is also survived by her sister, Margaret Smar; and brother, Donald Nedanovich.

Vicki graduated from the Michael Reese School of Nursing as an RN in 1960. She and Bob were married on September 10, 1961 and ultimately moved to Albuquerqu­e in 1968 where they have lived ever since. Vicki was a thoroughly dedicated wife and mother, a kind, sweet, unselfish, patient, gentle, yet strong lady who was adored by all who knew her. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing at church and around the house. The strength of her faith and love of the Lord was evident by the way she lived her life. During the course of her illness she maintained her dignity, tenacity, strength of character, determinat­ion to be happy and strong, and her faith in God.

A Memorial Service for Vicki will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. A reception will follow at FRENCH – University. Memorial donations to the Albuquerqu­e Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n would be welcome.
