Winifred Stephanie Klimka, age 98, born in

Ipswich, Massachuse­tts, a residence of Albuquerqu­e, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018. Mrs. Klimka came to

New Mexico in

1948 with her husband; Children, David, Janet and Carol. They were very involved with Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a very devout Catholic and was a member of the 3rd order of St. Francis. She loved to bake bread, but especially cookies. Mrs. Klimka worked for the Archdioces­e of Santa Fe in numerous parishes for fifty years which she was very proud of. Mrs. Klimka is survived by her children, Carol Smith, Annette Klimka, Michael Klimka, grandchild­ren, Dale Hodgson, Catherine Staub, Aaron Garcia, Jonathan Klimka; great grandchild­ren, Kayla Hodgson, Landon Staub, Madison Staub, Reagan Staub, Sebastian Garcia, Alexis Garcia, Jack Klimka, Jacob Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Carissa Garcia, great-greatgrand­children, Kallie Tafoya, Jacob Diaz and many nieces and nephews. Mrs Klimka was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Klimka; son, David Klimka; daughter Janet Garcia; grandson, Michael Klimka; granddaugh­ter, Amanda. Storer.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, September

16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church,

5415 Fortuna Road N.W. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A final Visitation will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Please visit www.gabaldonmo­rtuary.net to sign the guest book. Arrangemen­ts by:
