The Wall Street Journal reported that Google’s corporate lawyers plan to go to the Internatio­nal Court of Justice to fight against a new movement aimed at protecting a person’s right to be forgotten. There’s a terrific argument for the idea. Just look what it’s done for George W. Bush.

Donald Trump Jr. slammed the anonymous staffer who wrote the New York Times op-ed ripping the president. He said it’s narrowed the number of people his father can trust. The other night, the president would dine only with Melania and Barron. It was just the three of them and their food tasters.

Cairo newspapers reported that Egypt enjoyed a booming tourist business this summer. However, Egyptian authoritie­s confirmed that a British couple who were vacationin­g in Cairo were killed last week by E. coli. That’s great — another terrorist group we have to worry about now.

CBS 60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager was fired over inappropri­ate behavior toward women in the workplace. Fager follows CEO Les Moonves, “CBS This Morning” host Charlie Rose and CBS sitcom star Charlie Sheen out the network door as fired bad boys. CBS started out 90 years ago as a coast-to-coast radio network, and today it’s a sex offender registry.
