THE HOMELESS ANIMAL RESCUE TEAM OF VALENCIA COUNTY will benefit from B2B2’s Sunday Funday on Sunday, Sept. 23. From noon-9 p.m., B2B2 will be giving up 25 percent of all food sales to the Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) to help them fund their continuing rescue work. HART is one of Valencia County’s oldest animal rescue groups. HART is an all-volunteer organizati­on and all money raised will go directly to the support of its rescued animals. B2B2 is located at 220l Louisiana NE.

VOLUNTEERS

SILVER HORIZONS, provides free groceries to over 3,500 seniors, and to about 1,200 grandchild­ren many of these seniors are raising. A small, local nonprofit making a big, positive difference in the lives of so many of our elderly. But we can’t help these struggling seniors (people just like or parents and grandparen­ts, and the elderly neighbor living alone) without volunteers. Learn more about available opportunit­ies at the upcoming orientatio­n sessions. Preregistr­ation is required for the sessions.
