There are many reasons to oppose Pearce

-

VOTERS, PLEASE make a wise decision this November. Vote NO to (Steve) Pearce and remember that:

He voted against the healthcare act to help New Mexicans.

He ignored the people in Las Cruces when we lined up on Telshore Drive and wanted to talk to him concerning health care.

He voted against the $200 tax break teachers would get for supplies.

He voted with Trump for the border wall and put the burden on us taxpayers.

He has supported (some of) Gov. Martinez’s education policies and now New Mexico is ... last in education . ...

He doesn’t denounce Trump’s degrading verbal tirades about women.

He doesn’t denounce Trump’s verbal attacks on judges, the FBI, the justice system.

He instilled fear about meth labs in New Mexico and never did anything about them once elected to Congress.

He has never mentioned how he will help the mental health services in New Mexico after Martinez dismantled these services.

He never really mentions how he will help public schools and universities with funding, and he tried to retract his true feelings about education to get the vote, but he supports Martinez policies.

He hasn’t truly denounced Trump for his ugly rhetoric toward Hispanics, Blacks, Native Americans, the disabled, and even some veterans.

He has never denounced Trump for his undying support of Putin. I don’t want to live under a dictatorship.

He is getting big tax breaks for being a millionaire — forget the working class.

I don’t want the Pearce/Trump team to lead our beautiful state of New Mexico. Please vote NO on Pearce. ROSEMARY C GARCIA Las Cruces
