Arroyo death in July ruled as accidental

Police say the death of a man found in mid-July at the bottom of an Albuquerque arroyo is no longer being investigated as a homicide.

Albuquerque police spokesman Gilbert Gallegos said the death of 56-year-old Herbert Hustito has been ruled accidental.

Hustito’s body was found July 15 in the arroyo near Interstate 25 and Montgomery.

Gallegos did not say what caused Hustito’s death.
