Malibu residents had to evacuate as spreading brush fires swept from the West Valley toward the coast via Malibu Canyon. It was chaos on the Pacific Coast Highway. When Harvey Weinstein woke up in Malibu and saw the flames outside his bedroom window, he just assumed he’d died.
The NFL moved the Rams and Chiefs game from Mexico City to Los Angeles because of poor field conditions. They think L.A. will be safer. There won’t be a dry eye in the L.A. Coliseum during the National Anthem when the military flyover is performed by six water tankers on their way to Malibu.
The Wall Street Journal poll showed that Joe Biden is now the most popular Democrat among voters as a possible presidential candidate in two years. But word is leaking out of the Clinton camp that Hillary is yet again planning to run for president. This is bordering on harassment.
President Trump’s war of words with the White House press corps resulted in legal blowback Monday. CNN announced it has filed a suit against the White House for suspending White House reporter Jim Acosta’s press pass. If CNN loses the suit, they can appeal it all the way to Kavanaugh.
