Leadership is setting a vision and demonstrating a willingness to set the example for his or her team. Great leadership asks questions and helps those achieve the overall goal through mentorship and coaching.

What do you consider to be the top issue or concern facing New Mexico today? Why?

Education represents our past, present and future. The challenges we face as a state are due to the expectations we have set in the past. We must challenge at a legislative level to create change that will shape our future.

What specific skills/knowledge do you hope to gain from your participation in Leadership New Mexico?

I look forward to forming relationships that will spark new ideas and create a culture where we value different perspectives and experiences. Together, we can help grow opportunities that allow New Mexico to become a leader of the future.
