Logistics manager URENCO USA Eunice What do you consider to be the top issue or concern facing New Mexico today? Why?

The top issue is our inability to provide sufficient tools to all of New Mexico’s children to ensure their success. We must put our efforts and our resources toward providing them all they need to succeed in life and to become leaders themselves. This includes sufficient educational opportunities, proper food, housing and medical provisions.

What do you consider to be the state’s top accomplishment in the past 5 years in our state? Why?

I believe we have made positive strides in our economic development endeavors, in growing industries and attracting new industries to our state. However, I do believe this needs to continue to be an area of focus.

What specific skills/knowledge do you hope to gain from your participation in Leadership New Mexico?

I hope to gain a better understanding of the challenges our state is facing and the programs we are pursuing to mitigate the challenges, as well as find ways to better establish these programs across all areas of our state to have a broader impact.
