What do you consider to be New Mexico’s strengths and how can our state build upon these assets?

People will always be our greatest asset, especially our young people. New Mexico also has phenomenal natural assets and plenty of room to grow.

What do you consider to be the weaknesses facing New Mexico and how can we overcome these challenges?

We are having a tough time merging our human potential with our resource potential. We are spending tremendous effort fighting drugs and crime; we need to focus more on setting the conditions to guide our youth away from those paths and toward more productive programs.

Describe your vision for New Mexico in one sentence.

New Mexico will lead in the development and application of educational and medical service opportunities in rural areas that will benefit the world.
