Award-winning poet to read at monthly Wingbeats workshop
AT BOOKWORKS: Poet Barbara Rockman will read from “To Cleave: Poems” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. Full of sensory detail and written with astute observation, the book searches for and lays bare the mythic moments one finds even in the most ordinary life.
Rockman is the author of “Sting and Nest: Poems,” winner of the New Mexico-Arizona Book
Award. She teaches writing at Santa Fe Community College and at Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families. This month’s Wingbeats Poetry
