IT’S DECISION TIME
Journal wrong to endorse Council ‘devils we know’ continued corruption
The Journal’s endorsement of incumbent (City Councilors) Isaac Benton and Pat Davis shows a very interesting self-destructive bent. The myriad socialist, anti-business, anti-family, anti-sensibility ordinances, acts of supporting deviancy which is abhorrent to most of the religious community and designed to destroy the family, reflect a total disregard for the sensibility and civilization which we expect from our leaders.
Their actions to destroy the city ... have been memorialized in a complaint to the Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General which has shown that they intentionally act this way in order to destroy the city to increase the money coming from HUD. The OIG has initiated an inquiry to the city. This has been a common racket across Democratically run cities for years, and Albuquerque is going the same way.
ART as an example has never been designed to succeed, only blight the once-thriving Nob Hill and other areas. The “redevelopment” effort for Downtown is countered by the constriction of corridors to Downtown including Central, Lead and Coal and is a definite sign of either schizophrenia or intentional and willful acts. Those developers who have fallen for the bait of ART’s promise will find that it is, like in other cities, a mirage and shiny object to divert your attention away from the real intent of blighting the city for financial gain. Profiting from poverty.
What is more concerning is the lack of discretion from supporting the incumbent “devil we know” vs. those who represent a real change in paradigm to reverse the declining state of our city (due to) increased homelessness, crime, illegal (immigrant) support vs. our own citizens ... phony crises like “gun violence” which the City Council has no constitutional authority to do anything about, free food, free computer use, free veterinarian services which are definite violations of the Constitution (and) are trying to sucker in dependency ... but will ultimately be stopped by enforcing the Constitution (and rejecting) those who think that good governance is making everyone beggars.
The Journal needs to grow up and act more responsibly or else it will continue to lose readership from not only the declining population, but lack of serious mature responsibility or plain socialist bent which will most assuredly destroy it as it has in all societies where socialism has progressed.
