UNM DOESN’T HAVE a Bob Davie problem. UNM has an Eddie Nuñez problem. But, I expect the taxpayers will fund a few more buyouts before that fact is widely recognized. — JA

I’VE NEVER BEFORE submitted to this column but after seeing President Stokes’ selfie from the women’s basketball game the very day of the sudden death of UNM football player Nahje Flowers, I feel compelled to “speak up.” For shame. — Jenn D. Martinez

PERHAPS ALL THOSE fans who have been staying away from Dreamstyle Stadium can drop whatever personal problem(s) they have with UNM and get to the Air Force game to honor Nahje Flowers and the Lobo Football team. JUST A FAN writes that Jayla Everett, and Aisia Robertson need to be reined in, what about Hurst who in the Northern Arizona game while playing 26 minutes shot a miserable 3 of 15, and in the Eastern game was just as bad. How someone who shoots that bad can play that many minutes is beyond words. — Also a fan
