Isleta Resort & Casino offers chance to win up to $5,000

Head over to Isleta Resort & Casino for your chance to win extra cash as part of several fun promotions now through February.

Guests have an opportunit­y to win up to $5,000 during the “Walls of Cash” promotion now through Feb. 9. Drawings are held every hour from 1 to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Patrons can receive a free entry daily and earn additional entries with every 25 points earned playing their favorite slots, table games, poker and bingo. Players are eligible to swipe at the kiosk on Tuesdays for a chance to win up to 1,000 additional tickets.

Isleta is giving patrons another way to win during its “Blizzard of Bucks” promotion, now through Feb. 7. Hot seat drawings will be held every hour from noon to 10 p.m. Guests will have a chance to win up to $500 during the promotion.

On Thursdays this month, players have an opportunit­y to win up to $500 as part of “Thursday Cash Drawings.” The drawings will be held every 15 minutes from 1 to 10 p.m. Patrons just need to swipe their Players Club card at a casino kiosk to be eligible.

Isleta has some special promotions for its poker-playing patrons. On Sundays and Mondays, poker players can be part of the “Black Chip Giveaway” for a chance to win $25 in chips for winning the most hands in an hour. The Isleta Poker Room will hold hot seat drawings every hour from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursdays this month. There will be $50 given away during each drawing. Also in the Poker Room, players can join in on the “Winning Hand Wheel Spin with Cracked Aces” promotion. The winner of the hand will get the chance to spin the wheel for a chance to win up to $100 in chips or a T-shirt.

Young-at-heart guests will want to head to the Bingo Room for “Super Senior Wednesdays.” Guests ages 50 and older can participat­e at noon during the matinee session or at 6:30 p.m. during the evening session. The buy-in is $5 during the matinee session, and regular games are $300. The buy-in is $5 or $10 during the evening sessions, and games pay $300 or $500. All seniors, with paid admission, will receive a free game that pays $250.

Off the gambling floor, there is plenty of food and fun at Isleta. At Triple Sevens, patrons can enjoy nightly drink specials during Latin Night, every Sunday from 8 p.m. to midnight, and during Ladies Night, from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday.

Guests can curb their hunger at the Tiwa Restaurant. The venue is offering smoked brisket sliders served with a side of coleslaw on fresh green chile rolls for $10.99. Patrons who prefer New Mexican cuisine can opt for the chile rellenos entree. The plate comes with batter fried green chiles stuff with jack and cheddar cheeses served with a choice of red or green chile sauce, rice and beans for $12.99. Chile Ristra is offering a grilled chicken sandwich served with guacamole, lettuce, tomato and chipotle mayonnaise and a choice of french fries or coleslaw for $7.99.

Isleta’s sister nonsmoking casino, Palace West, is also stirring up some fun with its “Cold Cash Wheel Spin” promotion now through Feb. 6. Some lucky guests will get to spin the “Cold Cash Wheel” for an opportunit­y to win up to $500 from Palace West’s hot seat drawings. The hot seat drawings will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
