GOV. MICHELLE LUJAN GRISHAM

hasn’t done well with her research as she made a commitment to return UNM men’s soccer if she was elected. However, she didn’t take into account UNM’s athletic department budget restrictions and requirement for Title IX compliance. Now, regarding UNM football, she is again naive as UNM has Mountain West Conference commitments, contractual obligations and television revenue involved. Bitterness? At her last press conference she (referred) to “our beloved United” and is giving New Mexico United preferential treatment with the quarantine restrictions, while on her way to destroying her alma mater’s athletic department.

CONGRATULATIONS

to Makuach Makuach for being named to NABC Honors Court! Very refreshing to see athletes nominated for academic awards. Just one more reason to love this guy — one of my all time favorite Lobos!

IT’S NOT WHETHER

you win or lose, but how you play the game. Coach Ron Garcia’s teams played with intense competitiveness, good sportsmanship and good coaching. Thanks Coach, for all you gave the boys, the community and the game of basketball.
