Cowboy fascist army does not believe in democracy
To Cowboys for Trump in New Mexico, as sent through their website:
I heard about your intimidating exploits with guns and verbal assaults in Rio Rancho on peaceful protestors who were speaking out against police violence … .
Your website looks like a tribute to Donald Trump, not a celebration of the ideals of freedom and democracy that were once the honorable tributes of our nation, those that inspired other nations in the world to build democracies.
Like most Trump followers, you seem obsessed with an embrace of false Christianity to justify your unChristian behavior. Christ did not carry a gun. Try reading the New Testament. Nor would Christ have ordered military-style assaults on peaceful protestors, as Mr. Trump has done, such as at Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C., on July 1, so he could strut across to stand in front of St. John’s Church and awkwardly hold a Bible upside down and backwards.
These military assaults ordered by Mr. Trump and Mr. Barr resemble the acts of fascist leaders from history. Mr. Trump began his political career as a traitor to this nation during his presidential campaign by calling on Russia to interfere in our 2016 election, offering a bribe of media coverage. Russians did interfere and were rewarded in the manner of Mr. Trump’s promise. It was an act of treason which should have disqualified him from running for president.
So, who are you folks? Mr. Trump’s fascist army? What is your motto? Guns in the streets over freedom of speech? I encourage you to leave this struggling republic and go to another nation entrenched in fascism where you would fit right in, if you do not believe in our democratic system. Please do not obstruct the enlightened evolution of our democracy with your acts of racism and terrorist-style intimidation.
If you stay here in New Mexico and this nation, aspire to be patriots of our democracy, instead of fascist followers incited by a hate-mongering real estate racketeer who has deeply divided our nation while praising dictators around the world, such as Vladimir Putin, Duarte, Bolsonaro, the Arab prince, as he alienates our former allies from representative democracies.
