Maria Anna was also an advocate for those people who were less fortunate, opening her home, providing needed financial assistance, or just listening and providing her shoulder to cry on. Her personal experiences drove her to want to help as many people as she possibly could. She believed that angels were sent to earth to help you when you needed them. She was one those angels on earth, and now she is a heavenly angel. Thank you to the many angels who were there for her and our family.
The Paez family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Presbyterian Hospital who cared for her during her final time on this earth. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of NM on her behalf.
