HILLBILLY ELEGY ★★★★ Drama, R, 115 minutes, 2020
Based on J.D. Vance’s memoir, “Hillbilly Elegy” is a beautifully constructed, unforgiving family epic about three generations of the Vance family, with deep roots in the Appalachian hill country of Kentucky.
