Gail London

Gail Victoria (Wilson) London, 74, returned to her heavenly home on January 28, 2021. Her turn on earth began on December 18, 1946 in Portland, OR as the eldest of six children of Dean and Elva Wilson. She grew up in Los Alamos, NM where she met and married Ralph London in 1965 and soon settled in Albuquerque to raise their five children. A devoted member of the LDS church for 40+ years, Gail lived her faith and dedicated her life to the service of others. She touched many lives through her frequent quiet acts of generosity and genuine love of connecting people. Gail proudly served as a teacher and a church leader, sharing in equal measure her gifts of kindness, empathy and organization. Gail loved to socialize and maintained many lifelong friendships, always taking the time to reach out with personal touches. She had a passion for travel and enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean, on the Rhine, as well as trips to visit family in Australia and to Thailand. She loved to read, was a history buff and researched many generations of her family history. Gail was a passionate soccer and tennis fan and could often be found scrapbooking or working on a Sudoku or jigsaw puzzle. Above all else, Gail cherished her family. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren and found great joy in supporting their pursuits.

She was the center piece and example of all things generous, thoughtful and loving. Her many acts of selfless kindness and compassion were felt by all who knew her, she was a quiet force for good in her wide circle of family and friends. Gail is survived by her loving husband Ralph; children Jeff (Lia), Amy (Dave), Mitchell (Shelby), Matthew (Dusadee), Nicholas (Tiffany); grandchildren (of Jeff) Tyla, Terra; (of Mitchell) Melayna, Kaylie, Owen, Hunter; (of Nicholas) Kinzley, Keegan; siblings Ora, Christine, Ross, Marla and Keith. Gail was preceded in death by her parents and sister Karen. Her family takes comfort in Gail’s strong faith and knows that she has found refuge in the warm embrace of her Heavenly Father. We love you Gail, Mom, Grandma and Gigi and look forward to walking with you again through the eternities.
