Charles “Chuck” Baldwin, 100, passed away from this life at his home surrounded in love by his family. Chuck was born in Unionville,

MO. and a longtime resident of Albuquerqu­e. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 40 years Christine Baldwin, sons Curtis and David Baldwin, stepdaught­er Sandy Shaw and granddaugh­ter Sarah Baldwin.

He is survived by his sons, Bill and Richard Broders, daughter Sandy Daniels, stepsons Bill, Robert, and Jack Caswell, along with a multitude of grand, great and great-great grandchild­ren.

Chuck will always be remembered for tinkering in his garage on his antique Hit & Miss Engines. He also belonged to The Odd Fellows Lodge and was a past Grand Master. He was cherished by all that knew him for his happy and optimistic nature. He always made everyone smile and laugh at his jokes and stories. Because of his long life, many of his grandchild­ren and their friends simply knew him as “Grandpa” and they will forever carry on a piece of his optimistic and resilient ways with them. He will forever be missed and always in our hearts. The family would like to thank the caregivers that loved him as though he was their own father.

Visitation will be Monday October 25, 2021, from 5:00 -7:00pm at FRENCH - Lomas. A service to celebrate Chuck’s life will be held in the LDS Chapel at 4109 Eubank Blvd. NE on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 10:00am with internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
