When this life is over for me, The last request I ask of Thee Obtain for me in Heaven this Grace, To See My God Face to Face.

Nick (Jose) Lewis Medina, a resident of Albuquerqu­e, New Mexico went to eternal rest with family by his side, on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of eighty-four. Nick was born in Tucumcari, NM to Felipe and Elizabeth Medina and was the oldest son of six.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters; Gloria Medina and Josephine Thompson and grandson Phillip David Medina.

Following his service in the Army National Guard, Nick married Mary A. Garcia. The couple later moved with their six children to Clovis, NM where he was employed by Coors Distributo­rship for eight years. The family relocated to Albuquerqu­e where

Nick began working in fine men’s clothing business. He subsequent­ly went to work as a custom tile layer.

Nick enjoyed fishing and camping in Jemez and passed that love to his children and grandchild­ren.

Nick is survived by his six children, Helen, Nick (Cecelia), Don (Edith). Phil, Gloria, and Carla and five grandchild­ren; Nick III, Nichole Rivera (Ray), Ashley, Erika (Marco) Marquez. Nick had six great-grandchild­ren, Estrella, Mireya, Raymond Domenic, Tanner, Jessie Jr. Juliana, Raelynn and Penelope.

Special thanks to Nick’s daughter Carla, his son Nick and his brother Ruben for their time and unselfish care. The services of Daniels Funeral for their services are appreciate­d.

In accordance with Nick’s wishes no services were held. The family is grateful for thoughts and prayers of support.
