-

T. David Croné, beloved husband, passed from this life on October 28, 2021. He was born in Gallup, New Mexico, on June 23, 1943. David grew up in Gallup, Loveland, Colorado, and Albuquerque. He graduated from Sandia High School and enlisted in the US Air Force. He served on active duty for four years during the Vietnam War and in the Air Force Reserve for two years. After his time in the Air Force, David attended UNM. He was hired by Mountain Bell and worked 32 years as an outside phone tech.

David and his wife, Pam, were married for 38 years. Together, they enjoyed driving to Jemez and fishing in northern New Mexico and Colorado. David especially enjoyed their trips to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Sanibel, Florida.

David loved riding his motorcycle, shooting at Calibers with his cul-de-sac buddies, reading, and watching football. He was a master at growing tomatoes and always made sure he grew a lot so that he could share with family and friends. He loved his dogs, especially Kara, an Anatolian Shepherd.

David had a wonderful sense of humor, was a very patient man and a most supportive husband. He is much loved and will be deeply missed.

David is survived by his wife, Pam, and one sister, Karen (Rod) in Lubbock, Texas.

Gratitude is given to Roadrunner Hospice, Dr. Pinon and Tara, for helping David in his final months.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 11 AM at FRENCH- Wyoming. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.

David fought his battle with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s with courage, dignity, and humor. We are so proud of you, David. God bless you.
