Stephanie Skaggs, SCORE funding and financing expert, will answer questions regarding business funding such as growing a company, bank loans and business funding alternative financing options in this Q&A-style workshop. will host its workshop “Employer-Based Child Care - Understand the Business Case and How to Get Started” from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday online. The workshop will go over understanding the current needs of the care-giving workforce, promoting knowledge of how to utilize resources that are available to employers and offer real-life examples of employerbased child care. will host its workshop “Tourism and the Economy” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Silver Room at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, 2401 12th NW, or via Zoom. Tourism is an integral part of the New Mexico economy and is a key driver of business sales, employment and tax revenue. What role can communicators and public relations professionals play in advancing tourism and economic development efforts? Hear from speakers Lancing Adams, tourism development director for the New Mexico Tourism Department, and Grant Taylor, director of business development and analytics for the Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance, formerly AED. Hilma Chynoweth, director of business development with the Garcia Automotive Group and immediate past president of NMPRSA, will moderate. The cost for the in-person luncheon is $30 for NMPRSA members and students, $35 for non-members. The live stream Zoom option is $15 for NMPRSA members, students and non-members.
