Happy Birthday Daddy! Although physically your body was wearing down, your mind continuously dreamed of ways to transform the world and the lives of those within it. Your mind was like an encyclopedia always with an answer regardless of the challenge. Your soul was like a celestial being seeing good in everyone without judgment. Your heart found happiness in transforming the lives of others regardless of their circumstances. We cannot thank you enough for gifting us the elements of our beings to prepare us for sensible lives. Your every word was like a jewel that I hold deep within my heart as I decide how to proceed in this treacherous land. Thank you for teaching us how deep-thought yields opportunities for solutions; there is never a lone road in our path. Thank you for teaching us value and respect as we grew up; each achievement or acquisition was due to a well delineated step with the principles imprinted with infinite wisdom within our souls. I thank you most of all for leading by example with your every footstep reminding us that each human being is unique but equally invaluable deserving the chance to succeed and experience happiness regardless of his/her path. The love you demonstrated in your every waking moment created eternal fossils within our souls to accompany us through our journeys in life. Although your patients were thankful for you as Dr. M, I feel privileged to have you as my father. May you feel the infinite rays of our love. Let’s Fly! Love, Colicia and Trevor
