Forgot your password? We’ll talk you through it

As some of you have noticed, the Albuquerque Journal app is now requiring subscribers to log in to read the e-paper. This is due to a recent app update.

Logging in can be done with the email and password used to register your subscription online. If you don’t remember the password, or never set one up, you’re not alone! Here’s what to do next.

First, go to ABQJournal.com. In the top right-hand corner, select “Login.” Underneath the email and password boxes are two options: “Forgot Password?” and “Need to Register Your Account?” If you don’t remember your password, you can send yourself a reset link by clicking on “Forgot Password?”, entering the email you registered with and hitting “Send Email.” You should receive an email from noreply@subscriber.abqjournal.com that contains a link that says “Reset Password.” Follow the link and the instructions to set up a new password, which needs to be six characters, including one upper case and one number. Once you’ve set the new password, use it to sign in on the Journal app.

If you don’t think you ever set up a password in the first place, click “Need to Register Your Account?” under the “Sign In” button at ABQJournal.com. Enter your email and hit “Send Email.” You will receive a link from noreply@ subscriber.abqjournal.com. That link will prompt you to input a new password, which also needs to be six characters, one upper case and one number. Once you have updated your password, it should say “Password Updated Successfully.” Click on the button that says “Return to ABQJournal.com.” From there, you should be able to access the e-paper on the browser and app without any issues.
