A beloved greatgrandfather, grandfather, brother, uncle, dad, friend, companion and a faithful devotee to Jesus, was called to Heaven. Gerald

Lee Cox, 82, was truly a jack of all trades. Just to list a few, Farrier, dairy farmer, logger, bull fighter, guide and outfitter, ranch hand, cattle buyer, bus driver for firefighters, and water tanker driver for wildfires.

Gerald lived his life with humility, graciousness and warmth towards everyone. He was known for his love of Christ and a love of nature. As an avid gardener, hunter, fisherman, primitive skills enthusiast, guitar and fiddle player, Gerald loved telling stories while playing dominos and sipping iced tea. Gerald will be remembered for calling his children daily just to say hello, making sure he had enough fish for his next fish fry and making sure his garden was in tip-top shape. Gerald is survived by his daughter Leah Blair, son Audie (Kelly Nogare) Cox, 6 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, niece Bonnie Faye Smith (Randy Smith), longtime companion Lillie McNabb and numerous nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by brothers Wayne, Dellon, Roland, Leon Cox and parents Ferby Lou Culpepper and Hulon “Lonnie” Alonzo Cox.
