Employee Spotlight: Aaron MEET YOUR CONSULTING ARBORISTS

-

— Aaron grew up in Indiana and bounced around a bit before settling in New Mexico. He is passionate about exploring creative outlets, quality time with friends and reimagining the way society does grief. Aaron never leaves the house without his notebook or sketchbook. We asked Aaron, WHY TREES to which he replied, “I love working outside. Once I started at Legacy I quickly learned I like almost all aspects of tree work”. The most inspiring part of Aaron’s job at Legacy is leading intentional training with our crews and executing complex tree work, setting up trees for success and educating our customers and leaving them satisfied with the highest quality service. If Aaron weren’t so dang good at his job he would be a teacher. We are thankful to have such a thoughtful, deeply empathetic and intuitive person on our team to help us grow a safer and more inclusive environment.

We’d love to help you with your home orchard!

Now is the time to call and get on our schedule to have Legacy prune your fruit trees. Pruning isn’t just for decorative purposes! How you prune your fruit trees directly impacts how they grow and how much fruit they produce. Most pruning is done in the late winter and early spring right before they burst forth with new growth. Desert Blooms blog says it best, “At this time, pruning wounds heal fast, flower buds are easily recognized, and injury from low winter temperatures maybe avoided. In some areas, due to disease pressure, peaches have to be pruned after leafing, but not in New Mexico.”
