Jerry L. Garcia

Jerry Garcia, 76, grew up in Los Lunas, New Mexico, but was a longtime resident of Farmington, New Mexico, passed on to his heavenly home on Friday August 25th, 2023.

Jerry was a friend to everyone and never knew a stranger. He served our community for over 50 years at his business, “Jerry’s Barber Shop”. Every customer and friend was his family and he cherished every relationship he had. He was gifted with the ability to make people laugh and always jumped at the opportunity to do so. If you had the pleasure of meeting him he was your friend. Jerry loved sports, especially baseball, and threw a no hitter in high school. Jerry also enjoyed attending The Connie Mack World Series.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Garcia and father Antonio (A.K.) Garcia, his sister,

Martha Aragon, brother, Tony Garcia, and nephew, Angelo Aragon.

Those surviving, who will cherish Jerry’s memory include, wife, Sylvia, of 30 years. Children Terri Garcia of Chandler, Arizona, Jerome Garcia (Liz) of Los Lunas, Jason Garcia of Los Lunas, Jeff Garcia of Farmington, Michael Francisco of Farmington, Anna Lane (Kris) of Farmington, Ashley Estep (Dustin) of Clarksville Tennessee. His brother, Michael Garcia of Albuquerque, and his sister Barbara Daniels (Archie) of Albuquerque.

Jerry was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry may no longer be with us physically but will forever live in the hearts of all those he touched in his lifetime.

As per Jerry’s request, no funeral or memorial services will be held.
