Serafina Beach Hotel is an extension of the Serafina brand: after years in the catering business, is the hospitality sector the newest brand evolution?

Fabio and Vittorio: It is definitely the direction we are heading towards. Making guests feel at home has always been our winning idea.

How will you apply it to the new hotel?

Fabio: The new hotel will be fun, casual and welcoming, a place where you can relax without feeling intimidated by a fussy or cold decor. Vittorio: all our rooms have a fashionable and “fun” touch and this hotel is no exception, as Fabio says we want visitors to feel at home immediately, but energized and ready for new adventures, after all Serafina’s motto is “Welcome Home”.

Serafina Beach Hotel will be built in the San Juan district of Puerto Rico. What brings you to this location?

Fabio: The sea, the sun, the beauty of the island and the warmth of the people. Puerto

Rico is a beautiful island easily accessible from many places in the world, brimming with character and tradition. We had already started to put down roots on island when we opened a Serafina Restaurant, so when the opportunity presented itself to build a hotel, jumped at the idea. We feel at home on this island and the warmth of the Serafina brand fits perfectly with the Caribbean culture and atmosphere.

Vittorio: Definitely, the sun and the inhabitants of the island, their taste of good food and nightlife — in Puerto Rico the love for a good party is instilled since childhood. This is why this island is effortlessly fun and friendly, like Serafina.

How is the Serafina Beach Hotel experience different and unique?

Fabio: Serafina Beach Hotel reflects the energy, the desire and the festive feeling of the Caribbean, the longing to live simple. Warm and welcoming has always been one of the foundations of the Serafina brand. Vittorio: When you enter this hotel you feel immediately energized and free. The view of the ocean and blue horizon from all the rooms leaves a lasting impression.

After Puerto Rico, will other destinations get a taste of Serafina hospitality?

Fabio: This is a dream for the future and without dreams, there is no progress; I cannot say where and when, but it will happen.

Vittorio: Right! Without dreams you are going nowhere. And the partnership between Fabio and I has always been motivated by the ability to dream big...

This is a dream for the future and without dreams, there is no progress; I cannot say where and when, but it will happen.
