FERRETTI YACHTS 920: THE DIMENSIONS THAT FEEL JUST LIKE HOME

A top-of-the-line yacht, majestic in size and in the way its spaces were conceived, the Ferretti boat allows you to enjoy an actual floating house equipped with style and technology

For those who love traveling, true luxury is feeling at home, whenever and wherever: no feeling is worth more. Providing this “abundance” has always been the goal of a brand such as Ferretti Yachts, an Italian shipyard that manufactures luxury boats. Part of the Ferretti Group, Ferretti Yachts was established in 1968 by the brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti. It is the Group’s historical brand with production sites in Forlì and Cattolica.

The Ferretti Yachts 920 model, a maxi flybridge with many innovations follows in the wake of Ferretti’s other successful boats. The real estate is important on this yacht, with abundant space for multifunctional relaxation areas depicted by a classic-contemporary style of interiors. Designed by Zuccon International Project, the boat actually provides the right space that facilitates experiencing the sea while feeling at home. The interiors are classy with refined environments that are stylishly designed and furnished. The lounge, with anthracite-colored parquet flooring, is almost entirely covered with a walnut essence in chocolate shades, with an interior decoration by Minotti. The bed in the master suite is held up by a base that makes it seem like it’s “floating”, above which there’s a large mirror, thus the already generous dimensions of the cabin appear “amplified”. The bathroom is located in the bow, on a slightly lowered level; an environment characterized by parquet flooring, Antolini marble, mosaics and brass finishes. Every cabin

and every inner space of the boat has been specifically conceived and designed for people, in order to allow them to have quality time and to live in relaxation and peace of mind.

The central part of the bridge determines the on-board flows. The access to the lower deck is on the starboard side, with a large storage area and day toilet. Access to the kitchen designed by Ernestomeda is on the port side, from which you can go up to the command bridge or exit

on the external walkway. Continuing towards the bow there is the first technical and system monitoring area, beyond which are the stairs to the crew area below. From a stylistic point of view you see the detail of the gunwale on the outside areas, which continues beyond the bulwark walkways passing through into the master cabin windows. The raising of the bow of the hull has also allowed for the creation of the “wide body” master suite - another

distinctive feature of this model - on the upper deck. As with the interior spaces, the exterior spaces are also impressive for the amount of relaxation areas available. These are expertly arranged on the vessel’s body and decorated in the same style as the interiors. Thanks to the large windows and access to the flybridge behind, from which you can observe the stern sector, from the bridge of the Ferretti Yachts 920, built in the raised pilot house, there is nearly 300 degrees of visibility. The flybridge is an observation bridge covered by a darkened glass that overlooks the dining area and the external command bridge. The bar cabinet is covered with a travertine Florim top and may obviously be modified according to the specific needs of the yacht owner. The pilot house is an environment with the latest technology and a “futuristic” look: thanks to a large dashboard, equipped with a new generation wheelhouse,

with multiple touchscreen displays that integrate onboard monitoring and navigation instruments. The captain manages and governs the entire yacht from here. The mechanics for opening the garage is also very interesting: once opened, the hold door may be moved downwards thus creating a swimming platform, an area which may also be lowered and submerged in order to facilitate getting on or off the boat.

At first glance, the Ferretti Yachts 920 is striking for its grandeur: product of a collaboration between the Ferretti Group Engineering department and Studio Zuccon International Project. The vessel has an overall length of 28.49 meters, very interestingly the hull length is a 23.98 meters hull length, which allows it to be registered as a recreational boat.

The PURE version was also recently introduced. This emphasizes the authentic Ferretti Yachts style, which is warm, encompassing, with a profusion of high-quality materials and sophisticated details.

Three different types of MTU propulsions are available for the Ferretti Yachts 920. The first unit is a pair of V16 2000 M96 engines with 2,435 horsepower, giving the yacht a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. Zero speed fins and Seakeeper stabilizers are also available to keep her rock steady both under way and at rest.
