In 2011, Val Butler coined her love of curating and reselling vintage wares “Barn Again,” and it’s proven to be a well-suited name for her creative outlet. “I like to think of it as a simple celebration of the beauty found in everyday moments and the connections we make through our shared memories,” she says.

Val’s knack for styling her Watertown, South Dakota home is a true reflection of her respect for bygone days and preserving and honoring the past. She finds great joy when her social media followers (@barn_again on Instagram) share memories sparked by items on her page. “I love seeing a glimpse into my followers’ childhoods or their family stories. Barn Again isn’t just about showcasing—it’s a source of inspiration, encouraging others to style their spaces or kickstart new collections,” she adds.

Val ocassionally offers sales on her website (barnagaincollections.com) and hosts a booth at Peddlers Market: a year-round indoor flea-market in Watertown.
