It’s the after Christmas, lots of people are in the city, and lots of serious collectors come,” says Thomas Colville of Thomas Colville Fine Art. “that’s the reason I’ve done the show for 25 years. It’s different from the other shows in that you can find good quality American works, but it’s also the premiere place to buy furniture and folk art.”

Included in the works that Colville will bring to the show are David Blythe’s 1859 oil January Bills and Winslow Homer’s 1875 portrait In the Garden. Gerald Peters Gallery will show Frederic Remington’s painting A Revolver Charge, which was inspired by the artist’s trip to northern Africa.
