Ghislain d’humières has been named the executive director and senior vice president of core operations at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. As the CEO of the Speed Art Museum, d’humières oversaw a $60 million renovation, and will supervise multiple divisions at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation…taking d’humières’ place at the Speed is Stephen Reily, who has been appointed director by the museum’s board of trustees. Reily stepped in as interim director in March 2017 and has served on the museum board for 10 years…jennifer Jacobsen is now the director of American art at Bonhams. She comes to the organization after eight years with Christie’s…phillips has appointed Christopher Mahoney as its senior international specialist for photographs. He has previously served as the head of the photographs department at Sotheby’s, as well as assisted with Phillips’ 2016 auction of photographs from the Joy of Giving Something Foundation…the Hyde Collection has announced the appointment of three new officers to its board of trustees. David Howson, Mark Behan and Chelsea Silver will each join the board for a three-year term…chana Budgazad Sheldon has been announced as the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami’s new executive director. Sheldon has most recently served as the Miami director and national program advisor for Projectart and has produced over 70 exhibitions with Locust Projects…tacoma Art Museum has named David Setford as its new executive director. Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico…allison Glenn has been appointed as the associate curator of contemporary art at the Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas. She comes to Crystal Bridges from Prospect New Orleans, where she served as manager of publications and curatorial associate… The board of trustees at the National Museum of Wildlife Art has announced the appointment of Bill Friedeman as the new chief advancement officer. In his new role, Friedeman will be responsible for the museum’s philanthropic initiatives… Painter Amy Sherald will join the Baltimore Museum of Art’s board of trustees…the Georgia O’keeffe Museum has announced two additions to their leadership. Katrina Stacy is the new curator of education and interpretation and Liz Neely is the new curator of digital experience… Joseph H. Seipel, former dean of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Arts, has been named as the interim director for the school’s new Institute for Contemporary Art…mission Inn Foundation has chosen Gina Cavallo Collins as its new executive director. Collins has a 30-year career in museum management including roles at the Heard Museum, the Shemer Art Center and Museum and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art…the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston has announced changes to its curatorial staff, with Jeffrey De Blois, Ruth Erickson and Jessica Hong taking on new roles within the organization, and Ellen Tani joining the museum as an assistant curator from the Bowdoin College Museum of Art…bryan Barcena has been named assistant curator and manager of publications at MOCA Los Angeles. In 2015, Barcena became a research assistant for Latin American art at the museum.
