Portrait of American sculptor ABASTENIA St. LEGER EBERLE 1921
A bronze portrait of Stephen Haweis by Abastenia St. Leger Eberle was included in Haweis’ 1915 exhibition of paintings at Madison Avenue’s Berlin Photographic Company Galleries. Six years later Haweis painted this portrait, a reciprocal gift to his friend as well in honor of her recent appointment as Associate Academician of the National Academy of Design.
